We make both custom rings and ready-made ones, so we have no reason to push you toward either. The right choice depends on three things: how specific your vision is, how much time you have, and how you feel about buying something you can't hold first.

The myth worth retiring: "custom costs more"
At traditional jewelers it does — design fees, retail stone markups, one-off labor. Factory-direct, it doesn't have to: our custom rings price identically to our ready-made ones (stone + setting, from $1,550), because the same workshop makes both. The custom premium is a business-model artifact, not a law of nature.
The middle path most people miss
The most popular option among our clients is actually a hybrid: start from a ready-made design they love, then change one or two things — a different stone shape, an east-west setting, a thinner band, a hidden detail. You get a proven structure with a personal signature, and it usually adds zero to the price and only a couple of days to the timeline.
