How much does a custom engagement ring cost?

At PEGAFFI, custom engagement rings start at $1,550 (1 ct stone in 9K gold). There is no design fee: your price is simply the IGI-certified lab grown diamond plus the mounting and craftsmanship, itemized before you pay anything.

How long does a custom ring take?

CAD preview within 48 hours of your consultation, production in 7–10 days after you approve the design, then insured express shipping (3–5 days to the US and Europe). Most custom rings arrive within about 3 weeks of first contact.

Do I pay anything before seeing the design?

No. Consultation and the CAD preview — with unlimited revisions — are completely free. You only pay after you have approved the final design.

Can you redesign or reset my existing diamond?

Yes, in most cases. Send us photos of your piece and our setters will assess whether your stone can be reset into a new custom mounting. Heirloom redesigns follow the same free CAD preview process.

What diamond shapes and sizes can I choose?

Round, oval, cushion, emerald, pear, radiant, princess, marquise and heart — from 0.5 ct to 10 ct, all IGI-certified lab grown, D–F color, VVS2+ clarity. If you want something unusual, ask; we grow and cut our own rough.

Can I see the ring before it is made?

Yes — that is the point of the CAD preview. You receive photorealistic renders from multiple angles showing exact dimensions, prong style and profile, and we revise until you approve.

What if I don't like the finished ring?

The CAD approval step makes this rare — you have seen exact renders before production. Every custom piece still includes our lifetime warranty, free resizing within 60 days, and 30-day exchange support.

Is a custom ring more expensive than a ready-made one?

Not at PEGAFFI. Because the factory and the brand are the same people, custom costs exactly what the parts cost — the same stone-plus-setting formula as our ready-made collection.
